Start with the uncertainty.
Before we build, we ask what the result would change. When research cannot tell us whether people will use a tool, the next step can be a small working product. A polished product can still be wasted work if the question was wrong.
Separate a demonstration from delivery.
A mockup shows an idea. A prototype tests a part of it. A product has to work for the customer. We say which one we are showing, so a demo never turns into a promise by accident.
Let evidence set the next step.
Before an experiment, we name the hypothesis, the channel, the end date and the results that would make us continue or stop. The first build tests the uncertainty; it does not require pretending demand is already proven. William approves the public launch, pricing and payment collection. Then real usage and payment guide what we build next.
Working draft. Not a report of customer results.
